The biggest mistake that parents can make is thinking that their lives are over. Even if you have kids, you can still do the things that you like. Let’s say that you’re into fitness. You can make time to go to the gym. But what if you’re a fashion addict? You can surely squeeze in shopping in your schedule. The question now is whether you should be spending foolish amounts of money on garments. As a matter of fact, you shouldn’t. This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t invest in new pieces of clothes, just that you shouldn’t not spend your entire paycheck. A happy parent is a good parent, so if you want to be a la mode, go ahead. Make sure to start with little things, namely hair accessories. These are the hair accessories to get your hands on.

Barrettes

There’s no need to spend tons of money on hair accessories when you can buy two or three barrettes. In British English, barrettes are known as hair clips. If you haven’t ever worn a barrette, then there’s no better time like the present to start. If you’re interested in chic ways to wear hair clips, try creating a middle part and clipping the barrette, so as to hold your precious locks.

Ribbons

Ribbons are the ultimate accessories. The material can be used for tying your hairs, as well as for complementing your coiffure. Rolls of hair bow ribbons await you. Maybe you don’t want to complicate yourself. If this is the case, then you should stick to making hair bows. It’s not at all complicated and you can learn fast. Once you have prepared the material, it’s necessary to find something to fasten the ribbon with. You can use a hair clip. Alternatively, you can use a tie. No matter what you decide on, you’ll need a glue gun. Figure out how long you want the bow to be and overlap the edges, basically, to lie them on top of each other. You can either sew to provide the appearance of a bow tie, or you can simply make a knot.

Headbands

Until quite recently, headbands were considered only practical. Well, you need to know that they are stylish too. If you haven’t seen the latest runway shows, you don’t know that the headband was one of the most prevalent accessories. It doesn’t matter if you’re going out to walk the dog or you are meeting close friends. You should be wearing a headband. After all, you’re a real woman.  You’re not going to an awards ceremony, so a jeweled headband is out of the question. What you can wear, though, is a satin one. You’ll look absolutely amazing.
